My name is Carrie Afrin and I am a professional Voiceover Artist based in the Scottish Highlands. My accent is fairly neutral and non-regional, which means it is easily understood and highly adaptable for many types of project.
Client comments on my voice include the following “bright”, “crystal clear”, “intelligent” and “sincere” – but listen to my demo’s and decide for yourself!
I have over 5 years experience in voiceover work and also experience as a radio broadcaster – I completed my SVQ in Radio Broadcasting in 2014.
I am really easy to work with and can turn your project around efficiently and speedily, providing top quality audio files. I have a home studio and will provide your audio via wav or mp3 files. I am also looking into ISDN alternatives such as ipDTL and Source Connect and I am willing to travel.
I have years of experience as a Gaelic singer – from singing at a huge range of events over the years, to teaching with various organisations in school and nursery settings. I’ve also helped to deliver various music workshops including CPD Training for teachers. I’m currently working with Feis Rois and Feis Chataibh to roll out their Youth Music Initiative project across the primary schools in the Highlands and I deliver music sessions for Artsplay Highland both in English and through the medium of Gaelic.
I can deliver private Gaelic Song lessons in person or via Skpe, just get in touch if you would like more information.
